Help Without Borders (HWB) Guideline
Help Without Borders is an international non-profit organization that offers medical, financial and humanitarian aid to countries worldwide. Organized and driven by its own volunteers, HWB's mission is to improve the quality of life for those who need it. Founded in 2007, Help Without Borders started in countries such as China, Tibet, India, and America, and expanded throughout the world to help people without discrimination of race, gender or religion.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities
HWB is a volunteer based organization. All functions are governed, supported, and primarily staffed by volunteers. The principal management roles are filled by teams of volunteers and paid managers working together and sharing responsibility.
HWB depends on volunteers to accomplish the organization's mission: distributing martial, providing medical aid and educational programs, and recycling waste to promote the preservation of the environment. To prepare volunteers to participate in these vital missions, HWB provides training for most volunteer positions.
Our volunteers consist of individuals with different backgrounds, skills and attributes. Allocating personal time to work for the organization, they are motivated by one common goal: to benefit others.
Mission
HWB focuses on the logistical needs of medicine, education and environmental protection. Through fundraising and donations, HWB has been sending blankets, clothing and food to establishments such as temples and orphanages, supplying classroom desks for schools, and recycling waste. HWB's Relight Projects will provide surgeries to indigent cataracts patients, utilizing the Relight Mobil to travel to the areas needed to perform the surgeries. HWB has been setting up Clinics to provide free medical services to areas where people are in need. The distributing center will collect donated material and perform the function of distribution. Building schools will bring hope to children. Job training and language programs for new immigrants will provide opportunities for a better life for people of all ages. Combining the elements of education and environmental concern, HWB advocates the concept of recycling and pollution prevention in schools and in the communities. HWB hopes to expand its reach by setting an example that can inspire individuals to help.
Our Values
Respect - We treat all people with dignity and respect.
Loving Kindness & Compassion - Unconditional compassion is beyond boarders. We believe all people deserve a life free of suffering.
Learning - All volunteers and donors are beneficiaries in the process of giving, this is an understanding that must be embraced by all.

Our Creed
The earth is our destined carrier.
All lives are shipmates.
To help with compassion is our only direction.
One drop of water may dissipate hastily on the scalding ground;
Myriads of drops of water,
however, in rapturous embraces, coalesce into forceful sea waves.
We bustle and hustle to survive,
Content, now and then; bewildered, at times;
Ecstatic, some times; despaired, here and there;
In need of others, yet walled up by apathy.
Listen attentively to the countless debilitated heartbeats on this planet;
Open your eyes, and see our inflicted motherland;
Into the deadened urban life, infuse fresh and inspiring aura;
For children in desolate villages, light up the lamp of Hope in education;
Let the blind shepherds again see the vast greenness of the boundless Meadows.
More, send a warm meal to the starving Africa.
Ignorance and famine strand and wreck sentient beings,
While compassion and enlightenment illuminate the world.
Don't allow our lives slip through our fingers like sand;
Rather, exert to let brightness and warmth prevail.
Give without conditions, help without borders;
Into seas of blossoms are transformed nocuous acid rains;
Colorful auspicious clouds replace deadly mushrooms of nuclear explosions;
Plant a seed of love in our hearts;
This seed, now fragile and puny,
Will in time burst out mighty force and hopes beyond imagination.
One hand may appear single and thin;
Two hands, held together, melt down cold ice;
While thousand hands in synergy move mountains.
Help Without Borders,
Together, hand in hand, heart echoing heart,
Let us prove the glory of life with actions.
Like waves in the ocean,
You are in me, I in you.
We are all one.
