What can $10 do for one person or for the world?

In this world of tragedy, disaster, and continuous human suffering and adversity, do you hear the cries of the orphans; abused women; kids who are bereft of adequate nutrition, clothing and education; sick and elderly people without financial or medical support? No matter where we reside - Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or even in the United States - it's something we all have witnessed through the media or encountered directly in our own personal experience.

So what can we use $10 for? Three cups of coffee? Two of our favorite magazines? One ticket to the movies? We can spend $10 so easily for our own comfort and convenience. But if we pool everyone's $10 together, we can build new schools and hospitals, and provide food, clothing and medical supplies to assist those who are in need of help. Adding your $10 to everyone else's $10 is a very powerful contribution. $10 may seem like a drop of water, but the accumulation of many such drops of water, however small they might seem, will eventually - and inevitably - fill a great vessel of love.

By opening our hearts and assisting the less fortunate, we realize that there are no boundaries when we give with genuine kindness. Please light up the lamp of hope for others who are in need of your loving support.
